Dr. Kelly Estes graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Prior to pursuing veterinary medicine, she earned her undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and her MBA from The University of San Francisco. After working as an engineer and project manager for 10 years, she decided to pursue her passion of becoming a veterinarian.
Dr. Estes enjoys the problem solving aspects of veterinary medicine and helping people navigate the many stages of their pet’s lives, considering both their physical and emotional wellbeing in the process. Although Dr. Estes enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, she is most passionate about internal medicine, geriatric medicine and pain management. She most enjoys getting to establish life-long relationships with all of her patients and their families.
Dr. Estes loves hiking, traveling, nature photography and of course, animals and their people. She and her husband share their lives with 4 rescued animals: one cat named Kisa and three dogs, Penny, Hazel and Abbie. Dr. Estes grew up in San Jose but lived in the East Bay for many years and is happy to be returning to the area.
