   At Lafayette Animal Hospital,  we've provided quality medical, dental and surgical care to the pets of the greater Bay Area since 1933. We take pride in caring for your pets’ growth and well being throughout their lifetimes, and understand that your pet is a member of your family and their needs are very important. Although we may have started this business many years ago, we have modernized the practice by offering digital radiography, endoscopy procedures, color doppler ultrasound, and onsite laboratory equipment so that we can better understand what may be going on with your pet.

Our hospital opens at 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, for the convenience of those who need to drop their pets off for examination or treatment. Our appointment schedule begins at 8:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday. Closing is at 6:00 p.m. weekdays and 1:00 p.m. Saturdays. For after hours emergencies: click here

We do our very best to see all appointments in a timely fashion, and very much appreciate your scheduling appointments for routine health exams. If you do prefer, your appointment can be scheduled with a specific clinician. However, when a problem comes up suddenly, we will fit you into the schedule as quickly as possible. Boarding animals can be dropped off or picked up at any time during our business hours.
